America Got It Wrong
Dear America,
Yep, you definitely got it wrong tonight on American Idol. You sent home Chris, a person of immense talent and charisma. I understand why you kept Elliot (his voice is like butt-ahh) and Taylor (Hello Vegas cabaret) but I have NO idea why you kept Katherine McPhee. Yes she has a killer voice, but she has the showmanship of a sedated 95 year old. She bored me to musical tears all season and her performance of Elvis songs was bloated just like Vegas-era Elvis. Sure she's attractive, but there is no reason for her to remain on the show. You America, made Paula Abdul shed crocodile tears. And I don't even think Paula was coming down from any drug highs. Look at what you did America. Now we have to hear McPhee McMote through sorry-ass ballads and Aretha style oldies for another week.

Did you see Katherine's face?! We rewinded it to watch again, she was just as shocked, she new it should have been her! Of course Chris will still get a contract, but that's not the point. Katherine is out next week...
What I can't stand is how she follows the camera around and always knows which one is red lighted onto her. She absolutely should have had her ass kicked off weeks ago, but....she's photogenic, America, so eat her up. Who on earth forgets lyrics this late in the game? I wouldn't count Katherine out next week. Not with her voting block. All she needs to do is simper at the camera, and the phones are ringing off the hooks. Oh yeah...I was watching. Heh.
McPhee is hot.....I agree, she is high school choir girl, but she can breed me some kids anyday....
Who forgets the lyrics to Elvis songs, regardless of how far in the game they are?
And there's a still of her shocked face in WaPo this morning. TV column. Totally the look you get when you know you dodged a bullet and shouldn't have, and so you can't even really be relieved about it.
